Hand-crafted by a solo indie developer, Stellar Ruse features a unique 80s retro comic book style.

Using community 3D tool Blender, ships were actually assembled before 2D card layout was done with Affinity Designer!

The art relies on a striking toon-shaded technique—using limited shades of color to create bold, distinct shadow transitions.

How to Play

Phase 1: Buy

01

Deal 5 cards and select a specialty resource.
Form a 4-card resource pool collectively.
Buy ships to build your hidden hand.
Repeat until the resource pool is empty.

Phase 2: Conquer

02

Reveal 3 planet cards for conquest.
Play fleets of cards face-down.
Once everyone has deployed, turn all cards face up and activate card abilities.
The fleet left with the largest Attack claims the planet!
